Hi, I'm Hendrix.
I started Audrim Digital Marketing Services because I kept seeing the same problem: businesses across the Philippines with real potential (clinics, restaurants, tour operators, professional services) losing customers to competitors with better websites, not better services. What I didn't expect, once I looked closer, was how much of that problem traced back to the agencies those businesses were paying to fix it.
I've been freelancing since 2009. I started as a content writer, but a computer science background meant I could also build the websites I was writing for, first with page builders, then increasingly with hand-written code as I got better at it. Writing and development have been my two base skills since day one, and neither one ever really let go of the other.
Starting in 2016, I moved through five different Philippine agencies without ever fully leaving freelance work behind. SEO came next, less a new skill than the obvious one, since it sits right at the intersection of writing and development. PPC and social media management followed, picked up along the way rather than planned. My CS background also meant I usually ended up managing servers and backend infrastructure wherever I worked, on top of everything else. Seeing the industry from inside five different shops, instead of just one, is what turned a single bad experience into a pattern I couldn't ignore. What that pattern looked like, and what I decided to do about it, is right below.
Audrim Digital Marketing Services started operating for real in May 2026, built to fix exactly what I'd been watching go wrong, at pricing that actually makes sense for a local business budget. I still consult for a few agencies today, which I'm glad to talk about openly: it's not a distraction from ADMS, it's the same expertise ADMS is built on, and consulting is one of the services we actually offer. I'm also currently building a new skill on top of everything above: LLM prompt engineering, which is a real part of how ADMS runs day to day now, not a side interest.

John has spent over 10 years writing professionally, starting in traditional publishing before moving into freelance content work. He writes both long and short-form pieces across a wide range of subjects, with a habit of digging into a topic's real nuance rather than skimming the surface.
For ADMS clients, that means content that actually reads well and helps search rankings at the same time. His background as a registered nurse also makes him our go-to writer for medical and cosmetic clients who need technical accuracy paired with content that's genuinely approachable for patients.
Outside of writing, John coaches martial arts across several disciplines (Filipino martial arts, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and kickboxing), and is a dedicated foodie and cat lover. He's also our lead writer for Behind the Build.
